Q-Solve
Increased governance demands and the desire to improve asset performance have led to a greater demand for financial modelling services from institutions and individuals alike.
Given the importance of this activity, and also the specialist skills required to perform it effectively, P-Solve operates a specialist division focused on the use of quantitative
and modelling techniques, called Q-Solve.
What we do
Q-Solve is focused on developing, maintaining and delivering the output from quantitative models to support four main areas.
- Asset-liability risk profiling – used to evaluate the risks faced by institutions seeking to deliver on a pool of liabilities (eg pension schemes, insurers)
- Econometric modelling - used to examine possible future economic environments to support financial planning
- Portfolio optimisation - used for asset allocation and/or a portfolio of securities, to maximise the likelihood of achieving a given set of parameters
- Investment manager analysis - to identify risks, and sources of return within an investment management process.
