P-Solve is the specialist investment-consulting unit within the Punter Southall Group, and was founded in August 2001 to provide advice to liability-driven organisations such as trustee groups, corporations, charities and insurance companies. P-Solve today consists of 87 full time investment employees and the service has expanded such that we encompass a range of implemented solutions.
The team comes from a wide range of backgrounds including actuarial, investment consultancy, management consultancy, fund management, equity and fixed income derivative trading, investment banking, accounting, legal and insurance. Each of the professionals are dedicated to investment consultancy and their average industry experience is over 13 years. The remainder of the staff focus on research and the implementation and management of our derivative and multi-manager solutions. We have a reputation for innovative thinking, tailored client solutions and a willingness to take responsibility for our advice.
The focus of P-Solve's service is to meet the client's investment objectives in the context of their financial situation in order to improve their financial position. Our approach to investment is based on the principle that assets should be explicitly benchmarked against liabilities. The success of an asset strategy is measured by whether the return on assets beats the growth in the liabilities.
